What is Drive Less Connecticut?

Each year, the Drive Less Connecticut (DLC) campaign encourages residents, employees, and employers from across the state to explore a wide range of transportation options.

Participants join CTrides during the campaign whenever possible, helping to discover more convenient, cost-effective, and efficient ways to get around by using:

Trains

Buses

Carpool

Vanpool

Biking, walking,

or telecommuting

While the DLC Challenge highlights the value of these options, we encourage everyone to continue using them year-round to save on Transportation costs, improve mobility and create more choices for getting around instead of just driving alone.
